RightDoor answers only from official national address registers. Here is each one we use, who publishes it, its licence, and the dataset version in production as of 11 October 2026.

We add countries that have an official, openly licensed national address register. Each one gets its own card here, with its publisher, licence and dataset version.

In every response

The source travels with the answer.

Every answer from a register names it in meta.source and gives the dataset version in meta.datasetVersion. Where the licence asks for credit, meta.attribution carries the line. MCP tools return the same three fields as provenance.

Crediting the registers in your product.

Some licences ask that the source is credited where its data is shared. RightDoor credits every register on this site; if you show or pass on addresses from RightDoor, credit them in your product too. meta.attribution tells you when a line is needed.

Questions

An address is wrong in the register?

The register is the authority, so corrections are made by its publisher, not by RightDoor. Once the register publishes the fix, it reaches RightDoor with the next dataset version. Until then, a customer can confirm an address the register doesn't know, and it goes through.

How fresh is the data?

We aim to load each register's new release every month. Before a release goes live it must pass checks: row counts, known addresses and test searches. The version we're serving is in every response, in meta.datasetVersion.
