RightDoor checks the delivery address of every Dutch and Belgian order against the official national registers, and at checkout stops only an address that can't be delivered as typed. No code, no developer.
Coming soon to the Shopify App Store. Standard $9/month or $90/year and Plus $19/month or $190/year, excluding taxes, with a free trial of up to 7 days. Unlimited orders (fair use), billed by Shopify.

How it works
Install it once. Ship with confidence.
01
Install the app
From the Shopify App Store, once it's listed. Choose a plan in your Shopify admin (free trial) and it sets itself up: no RightDoor account needed. On Shopify Plus, add the RightDoor block in the checkout editor for live help.
02
Checkout stops only the impossible
A checkout rule stops a postcode in the wrong format, a missing house number and, if you choose, a PO box. On Shopify Plus, shoppers also see the register's version and choose.
03
Orders are flagged before you ship
Every new Dutch and Belgian order is checked. Anything uncertain gets a tag and its findings in the order's risk analysis. If you choose, an address that can't be delivered gets a fulfilment hold, which is released when the address is fixed.
What it does
Checked at checkout, and on every order.
You choose the countries and switch each check on or off in the app's settings. Only those settings decide what stops a checkout or holds an order.
Standard and Plus
Checkout rule
Stops checkout only for an address that can't be delivered as typed: a postcode in the wrong format, a missing house number and, if you choose, a PO box. It runs inside Shopify's checkout, so the address never leaves Shopify.
Standard and Plus
Order checks
Every new Dutch and Belgian order's delivery address, checked against the official registers. The result lands on the order: tags for filters and Shopify Flow, findings in the risk analysis (never marked as fraud), and if you choose, a fulfilment hold with Shopify's Incorrect address reason, released when the address is fixed.
Standard and Plus
Carrier label check
Choose the carrier you ship with in each country. When the street, house number, addition or city is too long for its labels, the order gets a tag and a note with a shorter street, using official abbreviations only. It never stops a checkout.
Plus plan, Shopify Plus stores
Live help in checkout
Under the delivery address, while the shopper is still there: the corrected address, "Did you mean", the toevoeging or bus picker, and a one-click shorter street when the address is too long for your carrier.
Plus plan, Shopify Plus stores
Address autocomplete
Shopify's address suggestions in checkout, answered from the registers: the shopper types a street or a postcode and picks the address, house number and addition included.
On Shopify Plus: what your customer sees
A suggestion, not a wall.
Customers keep the last word. RightDoor never blocks a real order: not a new build, not when it's slow. All checkout ever stops is an address that can't be delivered as typed.

From the official registers
Each country's official national address register, published as open data.
The checkout rule runs inside Shopify
The format check runs in Shopify's own checkout, so the address doesn't leave Shopify for it.
Never loses a sale
If RightDoor can't answer, checkout carries on and the order is left as it is. An order that couldn't be checked is never held.
Your customers' privacy

Pricing
One flat price. Every order included.
Prices in US dollars, excluding taxes. Shopify bills the plan monthly or yearly, as you choose, on your Shopify invoice and adds any taxes there. The Netherlands and Belgium are in both plans.

Unlimited orders, fair use
Every order and every checkout is checked, with no usage charges and no quota. We count checks only to spot misuse: if a store's use is far beyond what its orders explain, we get in touch. Nothing stops on its own.
Shopify Plus stores
Shopify shows checkout features only on Shopify Plus, so every Shopify Plus store takes the Plus plan. On Standard its checks stay off until it switches. A store that moves to Shopify Plus while on Standard keeps order checks and the checkout rule for 14 days while it switches.
Free trial
Both plans start with a free trial of up to 7 days. Shopify counts trial days per store over 180 days, so a store that had a trial before gets the days it has left.
Billed by Shopify
Choose, change or cancel the plan in the app, inside your Shopify admin, and pay monthly or yearly. Shopify bills it on your Shopify invoice and ends it when you uninstall the app. No RightDoor account or card needed.
The app reads only the delivery address fields it checks, compares them with the public registers in memory, and forgets them. Hosted in the EU, in Amsterdam.
What the app reads
For order checks, Shopify sends the delivery address of each new order, and again each time an order changes (the app acts only on orders it put on hold): address lines, postcode, city and country. Not the customer's name, email or phone, not the items, not the billing address. The order's note only when the app adds a line to it. In Shopify Plus checkouts, the shopper's browser sends what they type in the delivery address.
What it keeps
No orders, no customers, no addresses. Only your store's settings and plan, the keys that connect it to Shopify and to RightDoor (encrypted), and daily counts of checks. The result goes onto the order in your store, where you can see it.
When you leave
Uninstalling ends the app's access to your store. 48 hours later Shopify asks us to erase your store's data and we delete it at once. Shopify's customer data requests find nothing: we hold no customer data.
Soon: the app is waiting for its listing in the Shopify App Store. Email us and we'll tell you when it's live.
Do I need a developer?
No. Install the app, pick your settings in the Shopify admin, and it works. Developers who want their own integration can use the API instead.
Do I need a RightDoor account?
No. Installing the app sets everything up, and you choose and pay for the plan in your Shopify admin.
Does it need Shopify Plus?
No. The checkout rule, order checks and the carrier label check work without it. Live help and autocomplete in checkout run on Shopify Plus only, because Shopify shows checkout extensions only there.
Which countries does it check?
Dutch and Belgian delivery addresses. Orders and checkouts to other countries are never checked and never blocked.
What if the customer is sure they're right?
Unless the postcode is in the wrong format, the house number is missing or it's a PO box you've chosen to block, they keep their address and the order goes through. If it still looks uncertain, it's tagged on the order for you.
What happens if RightDoor is down?
The checkout carries on and the order is left as it is. The checkout rule lets the checkout through whenever it can't decide, and an order that couldn't be checked is never held.
Does it change my orders?
It adds information: tags, a note and risk-analysis facts, and a fulfilment hold if you turn that on. It never cancels an order and never changes the address.
Can I use the API as well?
Yes. The API has its own plans, for your own checkout, back office or AI agent. The Shopify app doesn't need it.
